Laurys Station, Pa. — October 28 — On National First Responders Day, the members of Laury's Station Volunteer Fire Company, located at 5314 Egypt Road in Laurys Station, Pennsylvania, were honoured for their community service and continuous support. Every year on October 28, the nation observes the day to honour police enforcement, emergency medical services, and firefighters who respond to crises at any time of day.
Firefighters from Laury's Station continue to support local public safety, offer rescue services, and extinguish fires. In order to remain prepared for a variety of situations, the department frequently trains through county programs and internal drills and takes part in mutual-aid responses in Lehigh County.
