Havertown, Pa. — November 3 — Manoa Fire Company – Station 56 assisted Broomall Fire Company at a working house fire on Springton Mews Circle in Marple Township last night. Crews arrived to heavy fire at the rear of an end-unit townhome with extension into the roof and attic. Engine 56 supported suppression efforts as the incident was upgraded to a Working Fire Dispatch and later a second alarm due to a partial collapse at the back of the structure.

Firefighters operated for several hours to contain the blaze, completing overhaul and ensuring no further extension. The fire was held to the single unit, and no injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
