West Amwell, N.J. — November 4 — According to the department's monthly incident log, the West Amwell Fire Company responded to 15 calls for service in October. Fire events, hazardous conditions, rescue and medical calls, service calls, and false alarms were all responded to, indicating that the volunteer company maintained a consistent operational pace.

In addition to emergency response, members helped the community by providing lighting for the annual Trunk-or-Treat at South Hunterdon Regional High School. Firefighters said the event provided a safe and well-lit atmosphere for families celebrating Halloween.
