Kutztown, Pa. — October 31 — On Friday, the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department responded to three different calls: an inside odour inquiry, a carbon monoxide alert, and an automated fire alarm. At every site, crews carried out routine inspections, verified that everything was safe, and cleared without any problems.
Several members resumed their Mod 3 firefighting class while calls were pouring in, improving their knowledge of interior operations, fire behaviour, and fundamental search techniques. As volunteers strive to fulfil their certification criteria, the department reports consistent participation.
