Allentown, Pa. — October 22 — Woodlawn Fire Department concluded its 2025 Fire Prevention Month campaign. Volunteer firemen visited eight schools and two daycare centers throughout October to instruct 1,764 kids in fire safety throughout the township.
Crews gave brief instruction on basic fire safety, house escape preparation, and smoke alarms. In order to familiarise trainees with the appearance and noises of a fireman during an emergency, FF Luxenberg exhibited full turnout gear. Additionally, they learnt about the equipment used on different calls while touring township fire vehicles.
