Lebanon, Pa. — November 7 — At Jonestown Mennonite School, Mt. Zion Community Fire Company participated in a fire safety program alongside Northern Lebanon Fire and Emergency Services. Crews offered students supervised time on a hose line and fire extinguisher trainer, discussed fundamental fire service tasks and exhibited common equipment. Additionally, firefighters gave a brief demonstration of extrication, demonstrating dash rolls and roofing cuts utilized in car rescues. The visit helped the district's ongoing outreach initiatives.
