COLUMBIA, PA — November 9, 2025 — The Columbia Borough Fire Department, Station 80, experienced a notably busy day on Sunday, responding to five emergency calls across the region.
The day began with a request for Fire Police to assist in York County, where they provided traffic control at an incident. Shortly afterward, Rescue 80 was dispatched for a cardiac arrest, followed by a response to a brush fire and then an outside investigation.
By early evening, the department’s Engine and Traffic unit were on location assisting Stations 7 and 76 with a structure fire, marking the fifth call of the day.
The department thanked its volunteers for their continued dedication and readiness to respond, noting that days like these highlight the ongoing commitment of Columbia’s firefighters to the safety of the community.
