October 27, 2025 — The Colesville Fire Company took advantage of the fall weather this week, conducting a comprehensive evening training session at the Sussex County Community College Public Safety Training Academy.
Interior firefighters participated in multiple live fire attack and search evolutions, working in realistic heat and smoke conditions to refine their tactics and strengthen coordination. Exterior crews focused on essential support operations, including hose line advancement and pump operations, ensuring seamless teamwork between interior and exterior units.
Members reported strong participation and excellent effort from all involved, noting that the hands-on, scenario-based training continues to enhance the company’s readiness for real-world emergencies.
The Colesville Fire Company extended its appreciation to the academy instructors for their guidance and support throughout the session.
