November 1, 2025 — The Westfield Fire Department responded last night at approximately 9:00 p.m. to a crash on Livingston Street after a truck drove through a fence and off a retaining wall connected to a parking lot on Central Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters immediately stabilized the vehicle to prevent further movement and safely extricated the driver. Crews then remained on scene for nearly three hours as a heavy-duty tow truck worked to recover and remove the vehicle from the elevated position.
No additional information regarding injuries or damage was immediately available. The incident is under review by the appropriate authorities.
