Liberty Assists Port Vue After Vehicle Stalls on Railroad Tracks

LIBERTY BOROUGH, Pa. — October 29 —Firefighters from Liberty Borough gave mutual aid to the Borough of Port Vue for a disabled vehicle on the railroad tracks under the 15th Street Bridge at around 7:24 p.m. In order to halt an approaching train and guarantee the security of responders on the scene, dispatchers promptly communicated with CSX.
The car was successfully taken off the tracks by C&D Towing when they arrived. After the area was secured, train operations could resume after all units had cleared without incident.
