Highspire, Pa. — October 28 — Citizen's Fire Company #1 of Highspire responded to two structure-box assignments; the first was due on a 59 box, and the third was due on an 88 box. While the command assessed the situation, crews deployed lines, finished size-ups, and got ready for interior operations. In both cases, the situation swiftly improved, enabling the assignments to be reduced soon after arriving.

Before going back into service, firefighters finished inspections, helped with ventilation, and secured utilities. Even in cases where events are resolved quickly, the answers emphasized the significance of quick turnout and well-coordinated actions.
