Palmyra, Pa. — November 5 — At a garage fire in Conewago Township, Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company responded with Rescue, Engine, and Tanker 2 to support Lancaster County Station 74. After arriving, crews assisted with suppression operations before moving into overhaul to deal with hot spots inside the building. Interior and exterior workers have to carefully coordinate the garage's arrangement and storage.
Before leaving Dauphin County and resuming operations, units ran for around two hours. Mutual-aid responses are still crucial for handling calls along shared boundaries, and the incident demonstrated the continued cooperation between neighbouring counties.
