Beaver, Pa. — November 10 —Beaver Volunteer Fire Department responded around 8:00 a.m. to a commercial building near Market Street and 4th Street after reports of fire in the roof. Police confirmed smoke showing, and Chief 101 added Stations 28, 23, and 84. Engine 24-2 stretched the first line while Ladder 101 and crews from Engine 63-2 advanced inside. Engine 28 established the water supply.

A brief issue with the 5-inch line was quickly corrected, and firefighters brought the fire under control before 9:00 a.m. Mutual-aid units and Medic Rescue assisted until the building was checked and secured.
