Clifford, PA - With temperatures hovering just below zero, Ladder 18 and Pumper Tanker 18 were dispatched as part of a first-alarm assignment to Herrick Township in Pleasant Mount’s first-due area for a reported structure fire beneath a home.

Crews arrived promptly to find the fire largely extinguished and contained to the crawl space. Firefighters conducted overhaul operations to ensure full extinguishment and eliminate any remaining hot spots. Units remained on scene to assist the homeowner in securing the underside of the residence before returning to service.
