FDNY Responds to NYCHA Unity Towers

BROOKLYN, NY - At approximately 7:30 P.M. on November 14th, East New York Companies responded to a report of a structure fire at 390 Georgia Avenue. First due units immediately transmitted the 10-75 and then an all-hands. Battalion 44 transmitted a second-alarm for the fourth-floor fire. There were initial reports of five injuries, with two being transported to a local hospital. The American Red Cross and New York City Emergency Management were also on scene assisting displaced residents.
