Walden FD responded to reported barn fire at 57 Plains Road on September 28th. Car One arrived advised it was a steel building smoke showing.
Requested Wallkill-Plattekill pumper/tanker to scene. Firefighters used hand lines to extinguish the blaze checked for extensions. Deputy Orange County
Fire Coordinator 36-12 was at scene. Orange County Fire Investigators called to scene to investigate cause.
