Pittsburgh, Pa. — October 22 — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire visited the University of Pittsburgh Child Development Center for a Touch-A-Truck event. This gave young students a chance to explore a fire engine and learn about the tools used in emergency responses. Firefighters guided participants through the cab, let them sit behind the wheel, and explained the purpose of important equipment carried on the truck.
