Egg Harbor Township, N.J. — October 31 — The Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 had a total of 41 calls for service in October. This shows a steady workload across different types of incidents.
Crews responded to 2 structure fires, 1 EMS assist, 1 vehicle fire, and 1 natural vegetation fire. Firefighters also dealt with 1 extrication/rescue call, 6 combustible spills or leaks, 4 incidents related to electrical wiring or equipment, and 5 complaints about unauthorized burning.
