Port Royal, Pa. — November 4 — In Spruce Hill Township, Beale Township Fire Company No. 5 helped Friendship Fire Company put out a blaze on Ox Bow Road close to Camp Lane. In order to limit the fire, Brush 5, under the command of Chief 5-1 B. Harrison Jr., came and set up a booster line. Later, Chief 5 B. Harrison Sr.'s tanker, Tanker 5, was asked to provide water support. After the fire was contained, workers finished mop-up tasks and utilized chainsaws to cut smoldering logs. Before all units were discharged after two hours, about 2.5 acres were impacted.
