Punxsutawney, Pa. — October 31 — In the afternoon, Punxsutawney Fire Department firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup and an SUV at the Park & Ride on Route 119 in Young Township. Along with Jefferson County EMS, Elk Run's Engine Rescue-30 and Ladder-30, Central's Rescue-20, and Lindsey's Engine-Rescue-40 provided assistance on the incident. The SUV's driver was extricated and sent to EMS for assessment. Before the road was reopened, an accident reconstruction was carried out by the Pennsylvania State Police.
