Neptune, Pa. — October 19 —Shortly after the Tyrone Halloween Parade ended, Neptune Fire Company (Department 31) and Station 36 received a call to Grazierville, Snyder Township. They were responding to a reported brush fire at a location where contractors had conducted a controlled burn earlier that day.

Chief 34 (Walls) arrived on the scene to find two small fires that did not pose an immediate threat to nearby structures or property. Engine 34 positioned itself in an alley behind the fires and deployed its booster reel to start extinguishing them. Engine 33 staged along East Pleasant Valley Boulevard and also operated its booster reel to help. Both fires were quickly extinguished, and the box was cleared without incident. The efficient teamwork between the two companies ensured a prompt and safe resolution.
