Brockway, Pa. — November 7— A commercial structure fire at the Rodeway Inn on Allegheny Boulevard prompted the Brockway Volunteer Hose Company to assist the Brookville Fire Company early on Friday morning. Engine 1 was assigned to help with ventilation operations when it arrived soon after dispatch. In order to remove smoke from the facility and make sure it was safe for overhaul, crews collaborated with Brookville staff.

For roughly an hour and a half, Engine 1 stayed on the scene. There were no reported injuries. Strong mutual-aid cooperation within Jefferson County's fire service network was demonstrated by the prompt reaction and departmental coordination.
