Altoona, Pa. — October 29 — Two members of the Altoona Fire Fighters IAFF Local 299 were recognized for their bravery and dedication at the Spirit of Courage Awards ceremony in Bethlehem. Captain Nick Wuckovich and Captain Cameron Sunderland received honors for their service and commitment to public safety, representing the department and the community well. The annual awards showcase individuals who show exceptional courage and dedication in dangerous situations.
