Middletown, N.Y. — October 19 —The Ontario Hose Company #5 responded to a reported structure fire at 2 Dolson Avenue late Sunday night. Crews discovered severe fire conditions upon arrival and verified that the fire was operational. Several mutual-aid departments arrived at the site after Car 2 took charge and asked for a second alarm.

In order to contain the fire, firefighters set up a water supply, ran multiple attack lines, and worked for several hours. The building sustained significant damage from the fire, but it was stopped from spreading to other structures. There were no reported injuries.
