South Deerfield Responds Mutual Aid to Whately Fire

South Deerfield, Mass. — November 3 — On November 3rd, Engine 1 and Tower 1 from the South Deerfield Fire Department responded mutual aid to Whately for a first-alarm structure fire on North Street. As South Deerfield crews arrived, they helped Whately firefighters with overhaul, fire suppression, and making sure the fire was completely contained. Departments worked together to quickly and safely bring the incident under control.
