Rome, N.Y. — November 3 — Lake Delta Fire Department, 8508 Elmer Hill Road, held in-service training on its new TNT Rescue ER-40 battery-operated ram, led by Dave from Extrication Concepts New York. After a brief classroom session, members practiced with the tool on a donated vehicle from Rocker’s Automotive Rescue Inc.

The ER-40’s cordless design and strong pushing force give firefighters more flexibility and speed during vehicle extrications. The new equipment improves the department’s rescue capability, helping crews work safely and efficiently when every second matters
