Pownal, Vt. — October 18 — Firefighters from the Pownal Fire Department visited Pownal Elementary School for Fire Prevention Day. Crews met with students, shared fire safety tips, and showcased firefighting gear and equipment.
The event gave students a close look at local fire operations while reinforcing the importance of safety and preparedness during Fire Prevention Month.
