Berlin, Mass. — October 10 —The Berlin Fire and EMS Department hosted its annual open house, welcoming nearly 500 attendees for a day of community engagement, education, and partnership. Chief McQuillen and department members expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.
In addition to exploring equipment and learning about emergency response and fire prevention, visitors of all ages had the chance to interact with local firefighters and emergency medical personnel. Additionally, during Fire Prevention Month, the event included informational displays and demonstrations promoting fire safety awareness.
The department extended special thanks to its many local partners — including Chick-fil-A Highland Commons, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Crumbl, Market Basket, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Berlin Orchards, and the Massachusetts State Police — for their continued support in helping make the open house a valued annual tradition.
