Mastic NY- On November 7th at about 2:40PM Suffolk County Fire Rescue Dispatched the Mastic Fire Department and Mastic Ambulance Company to a report of a vehicle crash at Mastic Rd and Pawnee ave. On arrival Lieutenant Rudy Sunderman Advised Assistant Chief Martucci and Unit 3 officer Captain Steve J that he had a 2-vehicle crash, no pin and a fluid spill at the scene.
The crew from Engine 3 arrived on scene and quickly began to clean up the scene with Broom, Shovels and speedy dry. While the FD was working to clean up, Mastic Ambulance checked out the occupants of both vehicles that were involved in the crash. Atleast 2 people were injured and taken to the local hospital for further treatment. All FD units were back in service in about 20 minutes.
