Plainview, N.Y. — October 8 — The Plainview Volunteer Fire Department, located at 885 Old Country Rd., visited Pasadena Elementary School to present fire prevention and home safety lessons to students. Fire department members spoke with the children about ways to keep homes safe, including the importance of working smoke alarms, identifying escape routes, and avoiding fire hazards.
The visit is part of the department’s ongoing educational outreach, designed to engage young learners and build safety awareness from an early age. The Plainview Volunteer Fire Department thanked the students and staff at Pasadena Elementary for their attention and participation.
