Massapequa, N.Y. — October 10 — Members of the Massapequa Fire Department, 1 Brooklyn Ave., spent Friday morning at the Nassau BOCES Carman Road School alongside the Nassau County Office of the Fire Marshal in support of Fire Prevention Month. Firefighters met with students to share basic safety tips and demonstrate equipment, reinforcing early fire-prevention awareness.
The department will continue its outreach the week of October 20, holding assemblies for K–2 students at all Massapequa elementary schools.
