Bethel, Conn. — November 2 — At Friday night's final Bethel Wildcats home football game, volunteers from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company and Bethel Fire & EMS manned the snack shack. Members supported the community in a different way while remaining prepared to respond if necessary by serving food and hot beverages to onlookers in addition to their fire and emergency medical services responsibilities. The department thanked everyone who stopped by and noted they look forward to continuing the tradition next season.
