East Killingly, Conn. — October 21 —Training was given by East Killingly Fire Department personnel on how to treat and safely remove patients who have impalement injuries. With a focus on medical stabilization, tool selection, and coordinated movement to prevent further injury during removal, the session comprised both classroom instruction and practical experience. The department expressed gratitude to Killingly Fences and the Dayville Fire Company for their assistance and training materials.
