East Killingly, Conn. — October 16 — The East Killingly Fire Department visited Killingly Memorial School during Fire Prevention Week to give students a look at the tools and equipment used in firefighting. Firefighters discussed fire safety basics and allowed students to see gear up close, helping make emergency responders more familiar and less intimidating to young children.
