WYANDANCH, NY - Around 2:15 P.M. on Tuesday October 18th, emergency personnel were called to a crash on Straight Path and Washington Avenue in Wyandanch. Units arrived to find two vehicles overturned, with one vehicle on fire. As a result of the accident, four police officers and two civilians were hurt and sent to local hospitals, one of which was flown via helicopter. It is unknown how the accident occurred.
