Durham, N.H. — October 21 — The Durham Fire Department welcomed its newest sworn firefighter, Loran Sheley, during an oath of office and pinning ceremony attended by Town Clerk Rachel Dean, members of the Town Council, family, and friends.
The event marked the completion of Sheley’s onboarding and initial training, officially recognizing her as a full member of the department. Department leaders expressed appreciation to all who supported her through the process and reaffirmed the importance of welcoming new firefighters into public service.
