Durham, N.H. — October 18 —The Durham Fire Department extended appreciation to Firefighter Dan Brothwell for serving as the training coordinator during two weeks of onboarding and recruit training for the department’s newest probationary firefighter, Loran Sheley.

Under Brothwell’s guidance, Sheley completed multiple practical evolutions and classroom sessions focused on safety, apparatus familiarity, and operational readiness. Department leadership commended both Sheley and the training team for their strong work and collaboration throughout the program.
