Albertson, N.Y. — October 6 — The Albertson Fire Company responded to a vehicle fire in front of 830 Willis Avenue late Monday night. Nassau County Chief Fire Marshal Uttaro arrived first and confirmed a working fire. Engine 806 was first due and quickly knocked down the flames with support from Engine 8011 and Ladder 809. The incident was contained to the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
