East Bloomfield, N.Y. — October 8 — East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department joined West Bloomfield and Bristol firefighters at the local elementary school for a Fire Prevention Day. Volunteers spent the day teaching students about fire safety, demonstrating equipment, and giving kids the chance to try on gear and handle a hose.

Students also took part in a short obstacle course, learning how teamwork and preparation play a role in emergency response. The department thanked the Bloomfield School District and cafeteria staff for their support in making the event a success.
