New York, N.Y.—October 10— The FDNY responded at 5:47 p.m. Friday to a reported fire at 771 Williams Avenue in Brooklyn. Units arrived within three and a half minutes and transmitted a 10-75 for a working fire in a private dwelling.
Crews began suppression and search operations, quickly gaining control of the flames. About 14 minutes into the incident, a structural collapse occurred in the rear of the building, trapping two firefighters beneath debris.
