Adams Center Fire Responds to Early-Morning Rollover

October 20, 2025 — At approximately 3:49 a.m. Monday, the Adams Center Fire Department (ACFD) and South Jeff Rescue (SJR) were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover with entrapment.
Upon arrival, crews found one occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters quickly began extrication efforts and successfully freed the individual, who was then turned over to emergency medical personnel for evaluation.
Responding units included Chiefs 2-0-1 and 2-0-2, Engine 2-1-2, and Rescue 2-6-1, along with South Jeff Rescue, the New York State Police, and Derrigo’s Towing.
The department commended the teamwork of all responding agencies for their swift and coordinated response during the early-morning incident.
