Freetown, Mass. — Oct. 19 — To commemorate the official opening of the eagerly anticipated addition to Station 3, the Freetown Fire Department hosted an open house on Sunday. Larger apparatus bays, a special EMS supply room, new administrative offices, a state-of-the-art training room, and renovated firefighter housing are all benefits of the project. The department claims that these improvements will help with future expansion and more staffing.
At the open house, the department expressed gratitude to the town’s residents and local leadership for their trust and partnership. A special mention was made to ACG for a memorial flag that will proudly hang in the new station. The department said the new space will support its mission across the community and better accommodate its growth.
