Ripley, N.Y.—October 16— Day two of the Ripley Hose Company #1 tanker relay operation was marked by strong coordination and teamwork, resulting in the successful transfer of 213,000 gallons of water into the town reservoir. The large-scale effort highlighted the collaboration between multiple fire departments, local officials, and community partners.

Fire departments from Sherman, Westfield, East Dunkirk, North Lake, Hanover Center, Cassadaga, Brocton, Chautauqua, and Sheridan joined Ripley crews in a full-day shuttle operation designed to replenish the municipal water supply. Each department contributed personnel, apparatus, and tankers to maintain a consistent water flow throughout the day.
