Ripley, N.Y.—October 15— The Ripley Hose Company #1 successfully coordinated a major reservoir refill operation, moving more than 100,000 gallons of water with help from several neighboring fire departments and county agencies.

Participating departments included Brocton, Findley Lake, Cassadaga, Hanover Center, Forestville, West Dunkirk, Panama, and two tankers from North Lake. Crews worked in a well-coordinated tanker shuttle throughout the day, ensuring a steady flow of water to the reservoir.
