Jamestown, N.Y.—October 2— Paramedic students partnered with the Jamestown Fire Department for a skills lab focused on emergency evacuation and patient movement techniques. The joint session allowed students to gain practical experience working alongside professional firefighters in simulated rescue scenarios.
The training emphasized teamwork, safety, and coordination between fire and EMS crews—key components of effective emergency response. Instructors from both agencies guided participants through controlled exercises designed to mirror real-world conditions.
