Blackstone, Mass. — October 25, 2025 — Crews from the Blackstone Professional Firefighters Local 4139 responded Saturday to a report of a man injured after falling from a ladder. A-1 and Engine 2 arrived quickly, determined the patient required rapid transport, and requested Life Flight.

A general recall was issued for additional manpower as Car 2, Engine 3, and Ladder 1 established a secure landing zone with help from the Blackstone Police Department. The patient was stabilized, transferred to Life Flight personnel, and flown to a nearby trauma hospital.
