Owasco, N.Y.—October 6— The Owasco Fire Department, located at 7174 Owasco Road, joined forces with the Fleming Fire Department for a hands-on joint training session using an abandoned house generously provided by a local business.
The realistic setting gave firefighters an opportunity to refine essential fireground skills, including hose-line advancement, hydraulic operations, aerial tactics, and pump handling. The exercise allowed members to train in close coordination, simulating the teamwork needed for multi-company responses.
