October 26, 2025 — The Warsaw Fire Department extended its thanks to everyone who attended and supported the department’s annual Trunk or Treat with First Responders held on Saturday. The community event brought together local families, emergency services, and organizations for a festive and safe Halloween celebration.
Participants and donors helped make the evening a success, contributing candy, decorations, and financial support to ensure a fun experience for local children. The department offered special appreciation to judges Gary and Cynthia Marie Dolores Appleton, as well as Connect55+ Warsaw and Warsaw Youth Baseball for their generosity.

- Best Halloween Theme — Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
Other participating agencies included the Village of Warsaw, New York State Police (Warsaw), Varysburg Volunteer Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Kiwanis, and Nunda Fire Department.
The Warsaw Fire Department expressed gratitude to the entire community for making the event possible and for celebrating another year of family-friendly Halloween fun with first responders.
