Wyoming, Warsaw Respond to Lawn Mower Fire

October 6, 2025 — On Monday evening, the Wyoming Fire Department and Warsaw Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a lawn mower on fire that was spreading toward a wooded area.
Upon arrival, Chief Nate Coffey found the fire nearly extinguished, allowing Warsaw Fire to be canceled while Wyoming crews completed the response.
Wyoming Engine 5, Tankers 1 and 3, Brush 4, and Rescue 2 all responded to the call.
The department thanked the Warsaw Fire Department for their prompt assistance and cooperation, noting that strong interdepartmental coordination ensures quick and effective responses to all emergencies.
