October 7, 2025 — The Wyoming Hook & Ladder Company proudly announced its support for the Women of Valor National Memorial, a project dedicated to honoring women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States.

During the department’s August meeting, representatives from the memorial organization presented their vision for the tribute, which is being constructed in Strykersville, New York. In response, the department made a donation to support the effort and welcomed representatives to host an informational booth during the AppleUmpkin Festival.

Wyoming Hook & Ladder expressed deep appreciation for the memorial’s mission, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of women who have served the nation.
